Reiki Training with Janelle
Alright, Curious Reiki Warriors...
This is a free training I've put together. This will hopefully give you a more in-depth understanding of Reiki and it's interesting history.
This is NOT a certification to call yourself a Reiki practitioner. If you are interested in practicing it, check out this page to learn about my next training. (If you live out of my area, no fret. If you get enough people together, I'll come to you.)
Let's dive in.
What is Reiki?
"Are you on drugs or reiki?"
How Reiki Spread
Western Vs. Eastern Reiki
Here are some examples of treating...
Diabetic/congested heart failure
Hand foot mouth disease
Some Recommended Books...
I recommend any books by Frank Arjava Petter and Tadao Yamaguchi.
Manifesting with Jikiden Reiki
Is learning Jikiden Reiki your thang?
Shoden Certification (start here) - You will learn hands-on healing for yourself and others. I use this method most of the tie that I practice Reiki for others.
Okuden Certification (Shoden is prereq) - You will then be able to perform distant Reiki sessions as well as treat yourself and other for psychological aliments.
Shihankaku Certification (Must fulfill all requirements, including 120 hours of logged hours) - A Shihankaku will then be able to teach Shoden to others.
Shihan Certification - Shihan means, teacher. At this level you can teach Shoden and Okuden to new students.
What will I be able to do at the end of training?
You'll be able to practice Reiki on yourself and others. You'll learn about the history and the modality as close to how Sensei Usui taught it.
Do I need any prior experience in Reiki?
Nope. You'll learn everything in the training.
And you'll get some fancy certifications that look like this... One in English and One in Japanese.
I don't care about a certification. I just want to heal myself and friends/family.
I hear you. I first learned because my anxiety and depression was so bad and I knew that doing the training would be an investment in my own healing. I also wanted to be able to help those around me. I have used the skills in this training soooo much to heal myself and others.
I see there are two types of trainings. What is the difference?
There are 2 trainings. Shoden and Okuden. Shoden focuses on physical hands on treatment. Okuden focuses on distant Reiki and psychological treatments. Shoden is a pre-req for Okuden.
