Ep 10: What is Energy Healing?

What is energy healing? I get asked that all the time.

It’s not that easy to explain.

How do you explain love to someone? It’s powerful and has depth. And can be experienced a bit differently by everyone.

Energy healing is the process of returning to wholeness. It’s the divine energy to flow through you.

My first experience with energy work was in Thailand. There was talk of meditation and healing all over Thailand and I was drawn to it. I had to know more. (Side note- always follow what you are drawn to.) I walked up to a healing center and received a Reiki session. I had no idea what to expect. When I asked about it and I was told, “You have to experience it.”

So there I was in Thailand, laying on hard wood floor in a healing center on the island famous for it’s full moon party… waiting for this ‘energy healing.’

The thing that makes energy heaing hard to explain is that everyone experiences it a bit different. And each person can have experiences that vary from session to session.

What energy healing has done for me? It has propelled me towards joy, happiness, and achieving my goals. My relationships are better. I’m more aligned with who I am… and THAT alone feels amazing. I am living with more purpose.

What I want you to know? That there are modalities and tools out there that you can receive, especially if you feel anxious or depressed. Everything is possible to heal and shift. ‘Miracles’ happen all the time.
